Information we collect
NFC PET TAG requires no account. The pet information you enter (pet name, owner's phone, note to the finder) is stored only on your device.
NFC tags and the finder page
When you write to the collar's NFC tag, the name, phone number and message you entered are embedded in the tag's URL (tracepet.nextcode.ltd/p). When someone scans the tag, that information is shown so they can contact you — this is the core purpose of the app. The finder page does not store this information on any server.
Anonymous analytics
To improve the service we may collect anonymous, non-identifying usage data (such as counts of screen views and feature use). It contains no names or phone numbers.
Third parties
We never sell your personal information and do not share it with third parties except as required by law.
